Mother’s Day has concluded, but on this special day I figured it would be best to save the best thing for last for my Mother…..my blog! The best gift a Mother can receive is a blog from coreysaccone.wordpress.com. Lets be real. I hope my Mother, Grandmother, aunts, cousins, friends, and baby mama’s all had a relaxing and enjoyable day. Pink baseball bats, wristbands, and cleats fill the sports world for breast cancer awareness. The MVP of the NBA called his Mother the “Real MVP” and delivered an emotional speech to kick off Mother’s Day weekend. Sports play a big role in making this day mean more, because Mother’s can tend to add an extra boost of motivation. New York Rangers forward Martin St. Louis’ Mother passed away a couple days ago, today he scored a home playoff goal in Game 6 to force Game 7 verse the Penguins. The stories are endless. Thank you for everything Mother dearest. Love you!
Mother’s Day in my world….

Just a special day for the woman that means the most to me. She deserves a lot more, but my family plans on bringing her to breakfast and we get my Mom a special gift every year. My sisters planned this years gift out.

Mother’s Day is a special day that links people with their mothers and is a great reminder of the sacrifices our Mom’s make for us at a young age. A humble reminder that we are only as great as the company we keep.

My Mom is and will always be the number one lady in my life. She gave me life and taught me how to live it fully. She taught me how to live selflessly and as a man of God. She showed me how simple it is to make others smile and how impacting even the littlest of things can be in someones life. Mother’s Day is the one day out of the year to say thank you to all the wonderful women out there who were given the task to raise a child and, as tough as it may be, did so to the best of their abilities. This should not be the only day that we spend appreciating our Mom’s efforts, but instead a reminder that they helped get us to where we are today.

I really enjoy Mother’s Day because it gives me the chance to show my Mom how much she means to me. As I’ve gotten older my Mom and I have grown closer and I enjoy celebrating her special day. She always does so much for me and it’s nice to do the same for her. For Mother’s Day I got her a coffee from Dunkin’ Donuts this morning (which is her favorite), and then we took her to brunch and the rest of the day is just relaxing and allowing her to essentially take the day off and do what she wants.

Mother’s Day is a day to celebrate our mothers for all they have done, to show appreciation for all the hard work and sacrifices they have made just to help us become better human beings. Cherish and honor your mother everyday, but today go the extra mile to show your love.
